Mujin Morikuni is one of the regulars for Rakuyou High Kendo Club. He was present for practice matches along with 2 other fighters.

Mujin is taller as compared to the other 2 fighters or Rakuyou. He has very small hair and the lower half of his face is constantly hidden with a face mask.

Practice Match Arc[]
Mujin arrived at Hakurei High with other 2 members of Rakuyou Kendo Club. He claimed that only 3 members were sent and started to use Janken to decide the order, insulting the Hakurei Kendo Club regulars. Later he was seen stopping Bashou to fight with Shidou and Hiroto when the 2 insulted him for his actions.
During the match between Hakurei and Ouka, he watched the match along with others from first floor balcony. He mentioned the Ouka is not good enough for fighting Hakurei. He constantly explained strengths and weaknesses of all the kendoists fighting, showing his vast knowledge and data he collected. He only showed enough respect for Tsurugi Kamiya, calling him the 'Uncrowned Master Swordsman'. He was also interested in Shidou's strength as he was wanted by Rakuyou before he joined Ouka. After Hakurei won, he left with other Rakuyou members and asked Kaede to give his message to the kendo clubs. His message was that Hakurei isn't worth having a match with this year and there was nothing to say for Ouka.

Mujin is a regular for Rakuyou High and it is said that the regulars of Rakuyou High are all national level, so it can be said that Mujin is also at that level.
He also had a lot of information on the Hakurei regulars and was able to correctly deduce the result of the first match.
